This is about the recent row over racism on the BIG BROTHER SHOW.
I think the acts of JADE & TEAM against SHILPA SHETTY should not be viewed as RACISM.
Their acts and 'abuses' were more out of frustration . Jade and team had never met
Shilpa Shetty earlier, nor even they had any personal issue with her. But they were so angry, that given a chance they would have dismissed her from her existence on this planet. Why?
This can be linked to increasing imigration to the European Countries. One will definately feel
threatened, insecure when someone from other country or race is occupying their jobs and enjoying all the facilities which otherwise would have been their own. This feeling of insecurity is but natural. Even animals mark their boundaries and feel threatened when some other species or sub-specie enter their region. The same is true with humans too and it should not be labelled as 'BAD' or 'RACISM' . What they have done is expressed their sense of insecurity and this should not be termed as 'Racism'. Every creature has the right to express this 'NATURAL' feeling.
The solution to this problem does not arise by blaming a 'bunch' of people but by respecting our
natural feelings and evloving policies wherein we can make different sub-species of humans (races) live in hormany with one another without threatning the existence of others.
We need to mark clear geographical boundaries wherein one race will not encroach the other and at the same time live in hormany and peace with other races and help them in need.
But for now, Jade & team would be sighing '' THIS IS MY GIFT, THIS IS MY CURSE.
